COCONUT BURFI, THENAGAI BURFI, NARALACHI VADI

Coconut burfi is made with sugar and easy to prepare.  Whenever any guests unexpectedly visit us, for sweets, i used to prepare this within no time as I love this sweet.  Very simple and easy to make and relished by everyone.  For any occasion or whenever you feel like eating sweets, you can make this.






Let us have a look at the recipe now

Ingredients:

2 cups coconut grated
2 cups sugar
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
1 tbsp ghee + 1/2 tsp for greasing the plate

Method:

Pulse the coconut in the mixer.  ensure that you do not make a paste out of it.  mix together the sugar and the coconut in a kadai and cook the same in low flame.  when it starts leaving the sides of the kadai, add the ghee and cardamom powder.  transfer the same to the greased plate and level the same with the spatula.  allow to cool.  when it is lukewarm, dip the knife in the ghee and cut the same into desired shape.
enjoy the coconut burfi.  Is n'tit very simple and easy to make.
